OECD Secretary-General Report to the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors
The Secretary-General of the OECD recently presented a report to the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors at a meeting in Washington, D.C. This report focused on providing an update on tax transparency and on the issue of beneficial ownership information.
Part I of the report sets out initial proposals on ways to improve the implementation of the international standards on transparency made by the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes while Part II of the report provides an outline of the OECD’s expertise on tax transparency developed through its establishment of the international standards.
