Further to a recent public competition for positions in the Office of the Appeal Commissioners, some of our members had raised concerns as to the status of cases currently going through the appeals process if the Appeal Commissioner involved was retiring. We now understand that Mr John O’Callaghan has had his term of office extended to December 2015 to facilitate finalisation of his cases.
